REOPENING FOLLOWING THE GOVERNMENTS RELAXATION OF RESTRICTIONS.

We are now able to allow livery access, including loan livery and to taking bookings for lessons in a restricted way in order to still conform with national requirements, both to protect clients and our residential staff and students. We can only offer lessons with our 3 BHS Fellows at this time.

UPDATE 29th May 2020
We can now take bookings for shared lessons and will start small groups at the weekend.
We can now accept career riders to join our student lessons each morning.

UPDATE 8th JUNE 2020
We can now offer lessons with junior coaches.
We can only accept bookings from clients who need assistance to prepare their horse and mount if they have a household member who can accompany them and provide that assistance.

The following criteria will apply:

Clients will be welcome into the court yard and arenas but we would ask you not to enter the stable areas please in order to protect out staff and students.

All liveries including loan liveries must arrange time slots with the yard prior to arriving. There will be no morning time slots to enable the yard and student training to be done without social distance concerns. Horses will be tied up on the yard ready for riders.

We can only offer private lessons at this time, but hope to offer semi private for members of the same household fairly soon once we know our protocols work. Lessons will be available from 19th May.

We can only accept bookings from competent riders who are able to take the horse unaided from the yard to the arena, organise the tack and mount ready for their lesson, and return the horse to the yard at the end of the lesson.

We will only take bookings from clients who are from households who have been observing strict social distancing, are non symptomatic and who have observed all government requirements during lockdown.

Should your situation change between booking a lesson and the lesson day we will accept cancellations with no fee providing we have a minimum of 1 hours notice.

All riders must wear their own hats and P.P.E. including clean gloves and must make use of sanitising facilities upon arrival.

All lessons must be paid for at the time of booking by card or paypal. Initially all lessons must be booked by email as the office is currently unmanned. Details of bank transfer details will be available when booking.

Only one spectator per lesson will be permitted, and only for riders under 18.

Arena space will be strictly limited in order to maintain social distancing therefore all lessons and livery times will be strictly coordinated.

Clients are asked not to arrive at the stables more than 10 minutes before their lesson time and to depart immediately following their lesson.

All lessons will be strictly risk assessed and kept within riders competence, we will not be offering jump lessons or lunge lessons at this time.

We are also advised by the BHS that it is now permitted to travel horses for training and so can welcome people with their own horses for private lessons subject to meeting all criteria.

We reserve the right to check clients temperature on arrival.

By booking a lesson you have acknowledged that you have read and accepted these conditions.
