RIDING SCHOOL FOR THE DEVELOPING RIDER

Ingestre Stables provides a variety of lessons for all abilities. We have horses and ponies to suit all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our lessons are taught by qualified coaches and by students that are studying for their BHS preliminary teaching exam. Our lessons are structured around progressive development using, in the beginning, INTERNATIONAL PROGRESSIVE RIDING AND STABLE MANAGEMENT (IPRASM) Tests. These tests go from level 1 to level 6. Students who gain level 6 will have covered all of the sylabus for the British Horse Society Stage One Riding, and Horse Knowledge and Care Certificate, which they can then apply to the BHS to sit if they require once they have reached the age of 14 years.Lessons beyond IPRASM level 6 are structured around BHS Stages qualifications.Riders that are new to Ingestre Stables are required to have one private assessment lesson before joining in a group lesson, so that they can be advised as to the most suitable groups.
