Foundation rides are currently suspended due to the Corona Virus.
The Ingestre Foundation is a Charitable Trust established in 2015.
AIMS:
To promote the love of horses and ponies in young children in order to produce the next generation of horsemen and women, who, through good education will promote good horse welfare and maintain classical principles of equitation.
The Ingestre Foundation aims to seek sponsorship to promote "foundation rides"
in all areas of the UK in BHS Approved Riding Schools.
WHAT ARE FOUNDATION RIDES?
Foundation Rides are 20 minute private or shared private riding lessons, either on or off the lead rein, delivered free of charge to children aged 4 to 6. The aims of all foundation lessons are primarily to foster the love of ponies, and to produce good balance and confidence in young riders.
Children who have reached their 4th birthday but have not passed their 7th birthday can take foundation rides for a maximum of 12 weeks.
Ingestre Stables have delivered over £4000 worth of foundation rides for the Ingestre Foundation since its inception.
